Having fun needs safety. Here is what protects you on Dosho today, and the one thing we are still working on.
Protected today
Report and block
Every profile and every live has report and block. Our team reviews reports, and blocked people can no longer see or reach you.
Moderated lives
Hosts and the moderators they choose can mute, remove or ban people in a live and delete chat messages. Chat is also checked automatically for abuse, and repeated problems lead to a ban.
Identity checks that are kept private
Members who verify confirm their age and identity with an ID and a live selfie. Those photos are used only for verification and are deleted once they are no longer needed.
A wallet that cannot be spoofed
Balances and charges are worked out on our servers, not on your phone, so they cannot be edited or spent twice. Only coins you earn from gifts can be withdrawn.
Deleting your account means it
When you delete your account your profile disappears straight away, and after 30 days your remaining personal details are permanently anonymized.
On our roadmap
End-to-end encryption Not yet
Messages travel over encrypted connections, but they are not end-to-end encrypted yet, which means Dosho's systems can access them, for example to handle a report. We want to change that, so not even we can read them, and we will announce it here when it ships.
